Cara began her career in the cosmetic industry working for Nordstrom as counter manager of both the Philosophy and Laura Mercier lines.  It was here where she first learned the essentials of both skincare and color while working with many local esteemed and seasoned artists within the area.  In addition, she worked as a freelance artist for Bare Escentuals, becoming familiar with the ever-popular mineral makeup division of cosmetics.  Cara left the retail realm of the cosmetic business to pursue her ultimate goal of working within the bridal industry. She gained experience here working with Up Dos for I Dos where her artistry was featured on Fox News.

Cara then founded Blush, where she enjoys working on a one-on-one basis with her brides to develop a signature look for their big day. Cara loves being a part of women’s most special day and prides herself not only on her ability to enhance every woman’s natural beauty, but also to provide a relaxed, calm and smooth experience for both her brides and their bridal party.

Cara’s formal education within the field includes receiving a makeup artistry license from the Von Lee Institute, seasonal schools with the Laura Mercier company and, most recently, NovaLash training and certification.
